Cooperation between Institute for Biochemistry and Biology from the University of Potsdam and ProteaImmun GmbH. Berlin and Potsdam, February 2010 - We are glad to announce the cooperation agreement between the Institute of Biochemistry and Biology in Potsdam and ProteaImmun GmbH on the research and development of protein expression, development of mono- and polyclonal antibodies and a subsequent Assay .

Our aim is the development of murine monoclonal antibody against Aggrecanases followed by a biological test system for Aggrecanase based on these antibodies.The project duration is 2 years (01.12.2010 - 31.12.2012) and it is funded by the Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft and Technologie (BMWi) http://www.bmwi.de/

The Group of Ms. Dr. K. Heilmann has a long experience in the development of new selection and production methods of antibodies producing cells.
