About Our Proteins

ProteaImmun’s main focus is on Matrix Metalloproteases (MMPs), ADAMTS, HtrA family proteins: enzymes, lysates, zymography control, inhibitors, and substrates for drug discovery and molecular diagnostics.

ProteaImmun produces a selection of 15 human matrix metallo-
proteinases (MMP), among them collagenases, gelatinase, stromelysin and membrane-type MMP. Besides MMPs the tissue inhibitors TIMP 1, TIMP 2 and alpha2-Macroglobulin, furthermore MMP 14 lysates, MMP 2 zymography control and different collagen types as MMP substrates identified are offered. ProteaImmun prepares purified truncated ADAMTS and provides for determination of aggrecanase activity a recombinant aggrecan substrate and cartilage extracts.

ProteaImmun produces recombinant HtrA proteins which allow functional and structural studies of these recently discovered proteases. To get a more complete picture of the role of proteases ProteaImmun is offering an enzyme list with elastase, cathepsins, aminopeptidases and cysteinproteinases.
